The Camp S.W.A.G. Ambassadorship Program is designed to empower youth to become Leaders, Mentors, and Coaches within their communities. Ambassadors play a vital role in establishing and facilitating Leadership Programs in their local area, supported by Camp S.W.A.G.
Upon successfully launching a program, Ambassadors receive benefits including free tuition for the year, a complimentary one-year resident camp, and travel assistance.*
Benefits of Volunteering as a Leadership Ambassador:
- Complimentary One-Year Membership in the Leadership Program*
- Free Participation in a One-Week Leadership Camp*
- Comprehensive Leadership Training at No Cost
- Access to Some Complimentary Field Trips
- Recognition through a Leadership Certificate and Graduation Ceremony
- Opportunities for Volunteer Engagement
- Eligibility for Paid Youth Counselor Positions within their own Leadership Program, with appropriate adult supervision
Responsibilities of Leadership Ambassadors:
- Assist in Establishing and Operating a Leadership Program in Their Community
- Serve as the Ambassador for the Leadership Program
- Commit to One Year of Ambassadorship
- Aid in Organizing and Leading Meetings or Sessions
- Assist in Coordinating Special Events
- Recruit a minimum of 5 new full-paying Leaders into the One-Year Leadership Programs**
- Demonstrate Strong Mentorship and Leadership Skills with Younger Students
- Maintain a Positive Attitude throughout their tenure

<small>**In the event that a student fails to recruit at least five (5) new members into the One-Year Leadership Programs, a prorated payment for the leadership program, resident camp, and travel will be required at the conclusion of the Ambassador Program Year.
