Camp S.W.A.G. (Students With Ambitions & Goals) helps young people strengthen leadership, communication, problem-solving, financial literacy, STEM knowledge, and confidence through hands-on learning, mentoring, and real-world experiences.

Serving youth across the Raleigh-Durham, Piedmont Triad, and Charlotte areas of North Carolina, our programs encourage students to explore what they can do, how they can contribute, and what they can build for the future.

CSWAG Girls Lead Conference Leadership Experience

High school girls ages 16–18 can gain hands-on leadership and professional experience at the Connect & Thrive Women’s Conference while contributing to a professionally produced event and connecting with women entrepreneurs, professionals, speakers, exhibitors, and business leaders.

Camp S.W.A.G. is selecting two high school female entrepreneurs ages 16–18 who already own and actively operate businesses to showcase their businesses and serve as volunteer panel speakers at Connect & Thrive.

Helping eligible students access a future-focused, hands-on experience centered on project management, creativity, applied STEM, teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving.

Through its affiliation with Camp S.W.A.G. Academy™ , Camp S.W.A.G. (Students With Ambitions & Goals) plans to award needs-based scholarship opportunities for eligible students participating in the S.O.L.A.R.-X™ Innovation Project Lab.

Raleigh-Durham
Up to three (3) 50% scholarships and one (1) full scholarship.

Charlotte
Up to three (3) 50% scholarships and one (1) full scholarship.

S.O.L.A.R.-X™ brings students together in three teams for one confidential, future-focused innovation challenge. Across ten instructional days, students investigate, plan, design, build, test, improve, and defend an original working solution.

The experience is designed for students entering grades 8–11 and combines project management, creativity and design, applied STEM, teamwork, leadership, problem-solving, and meaningful collaboration.

Helping eligible girls access a future-focused summer project experience created specifically for young women entering grades 8–11.

Girls work in collaborative teams around one confidential innovation challenge, taking meaningful responsibility for investigating, planning, designing, testing, improving, communicating, and moving their shared project forward.

The experience combines project management, creativity and design, applied STEM, teamwork, leadership, problem-solving, friendship, and connection—while giving every participant multiple ways to make an important contribution.

Camp S.W.A.G. combines hands-on learning, mentoring, leadership development, and opportunities for young people to strengthen skills they can use in school, their communities, and their futures.

Grades 2–8

STEM-X Discovery Lab

Ignite curiosity and confidence through hands-on, high-energy science experiences that make STEM engaging, interactive, and memorable.

Program Format: In-school, afterschool, and community programming featuring 60-minute hands-on sessions with materials provided.
Focus: Scientific discovery, experimentation, problem-solving, curiosity, and confidence.

Middle & High School

Camp S.W.A.G. Group Mentoring Program

The Camp S.W.A.G. Group Mentoring Program connects middle and high school students with trained adult mentors through dynamic group sessions and meaningful peer interaction.

Focus: Leadership, life skills development, financial literacy, personal growth, social skills, and future planning.
Students gain a collaborative environment for guidance, peer support, and exploration of career and academic opportunities.
