AT CAMP S.W.A.G. MEMBERSHIP IS A PRIVILEGE
At Camp S.W.A.G., we recognize the value of social media as a tool, but we also understand that it can’t replace the importance of face-to-face communication and emotional connections in youth development. Membership at Camp S.W.A.G. is about young people uniting with a shared purpose to enhance their community through personal growth, developing friendships, and mutual respect for one another.
Camp S.W.A.G. Basic Membership Privileges include:
- Monthly Membership Meetings & Teen Forums
- Monthly Group Mentoring sessions (scheduled as needed)
- Volunteer opportunities, including limited Committee Planning opportunities for Camp S.W.A.G. events (e.g., Talent Show, Teen Expo, Fashion Show, etc.)
- Free One-to-One Mentoring
- Monthly Group Peer Tutoring Sessions (scheduled as needed)
- Free workshops on various topics such as Career Information, Entrepreneurship, Resume Writing/Job Interviewing, Healthy Lifestyle, Drug Prevention, and Anti-Bullying. (Some workshops may have fees)
- 10% off on Camp S.W.A.G. Leadership Programs
- Assistance in discovering academic goals
- Help with completing and managing college/university admission applications
- Aid with completing financial aid applications
- 10% discount on all After-School Programs (some After-School Programs are free with membership; contact us for details)
- Opportunities to participate in Camp S.W.A.G. organized group volunteer activities, including Community Volunteer Projects, Teen Game Nights, Teen Movie Nights, Teen Dances, Teen Talent Shows, and more
Before a child can become a Camp S.W.A.G. Member, the following steps must be completed:
- The applicant should be enrolled in middle school or high school
- Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0, good academic standing, and no attendance or disciplinary issues at their school
- Attend orientation
- Pay a non-refundable administrative and processing fee of $500 for the first year and $250 each consecutive year thereafter. Membership is only complete once all fees are paid in full.
Basic Membership Program Application Process:
- Complete the On-line application
- Provide a copy of the current report card or “unofficial” transcripts
- Present proof of age (Birth Certificate, State Driver License, or State Identification Card) at orientation (for age verification only)
- Parents are encouraged to attend orientation
- Visit Camp S.W.A.G. Payments to complete the payment of the administrative and processing fees
- Upon receipt of the application and fees, you’ll immediately receive email confirmation, and we’ll contact you within 2-3 days with orientation information.

Camp S.W.A.G. Basic Membership is offered at no cost.
Although Basic Membership itself is free, there is a non-refundable administrative and processing fee of $400 for the first year and a processing fee of $200 for each subsequent year.
