Empowering Middle School Girls to Thrive
The Girls Are Phenomenal Program is a transformative initiative designed to empower middle school girls (ages 11-14) to embrace their unique strengths, build leadership skills, and foster a positive sense of self. This year-long program offers a safe and inspiring space for girls to grow, learn, and develop lasting relationships that help them thrive in both academic and personal spheres.
Program Overview
Duration: 12 months
Eligibility: Middle school girls (ages 11-14)
Program Fee: $3,500 per year
Start Date: September 2025 – August 2025

The Girls Are Phenomenal Program provides a comprehensive curriculum designed to promote confidence, creativity, academic success, and social-emotional intelligence. Through workshops, mentorship, and hands-on activities, girls will have the opportunity to explore their passions, overcome challenges, and develop skills that will serve them throughout their lives.
Program Features
1. Empowerment Workshops
The heart of the Girls Are Phenomenal Program is a series of engaging and interactive workshops focused on:
- Building Self-Confidence: Techniques for improving self-esteem, overcoming self-doubt, and recognizing personal strengths.
- Leadership Skills: Developing communication, decision-making, and team-building skills.
- Emotional Intelligence: Understanding emotions, stress management, and healthy coping strategies.
- Goal Setting & Time Management: Learning how to set and achieve personal, academic, and extracurricular goals.
2. Mentorship and Coaching
Each participant will be paired with a mentor—a successful woman in a field of interest to the student—who will provide guidance and inspiration throughout the year. Mentors will:
- Offer personal and academic support
- Help the girls explore career options
- Assist in setting long-term goals
- Provide insight into overcoming obstacles and navigating challenges
3. Creative Expression and Arts
Girls will engage in creative activities such as art, writing, music, or drama. These activities help to:
- Boost confidence through self-expression
- Encourage out-of-the-box thinking
- Provide a therapeutic outlet for emotions
- Inspire leadership in the arts
4. Social Impact and Community Service
Empowering girls also means empowering them to give back. Participants will take part in community service projects, including:
- Volunteering at local shelters, food banks, or environmental organizations
- Organizing charity events to support causes they are passionate about
- Learning the value of social responsibility and leadership in community work
5. College and Career Prep
While participants are still in middle school, it’s never too early to start preparing for future academic and career paths. The program will include:
- College Readiness: Introduction to the college admissions process, scholarships, and financial aid.
- Career Exploration: Interactive sessions with professionals in various fields to learn about different career paths.
- Public Speaking and Presentation Skills: Building confidence in speaking in front of groups and presenting ideas effectively.
6. Special Events and Retreats
To deepen their connections and apply what they’ve learned, girls will participate in exclusive events throughout the year, including:
- Weekend Retreats: Overnight retreats focused on team-building, leadership development, and relaxation.
- Guest Speakers and Inspirational Talks: Meet and interact with successful women from diverse backgrounds, including entrepreneurs, artists, educators, and community leaders.
- Graduation Celebration: A ceremony to honor the girls’ growth and achievements during the program.

Program Schedule
The program runs from September 2025 to August 2025, with monthly meetings and activities, including:
- Monthly Workshops: 2-hour workshops every month, with a focus on advanced leadership and career prep topics.
- Mentorship Sessions: Monthly one-on-one sessions with mentors
- Quarterly Retreats/Events: Three major events during the year (weekend retreats or special events)
- Community Service Projects: Ongoing throughout the year, with at least one major service event per quarter.
- Field Trips: All field trips will be voted on by program members during the first month of program.
- Summer One-Week Resident Camp:
- Graduation Ceremony: Formal attire required. Recognize participant achievements and announce scholarships.
