Empowering Middle School Students to Thrive
The Empower Youth Leadership Program is a transformative initiative designed to inspire and equip middle school students (ages 11–14) with the tools to embrace their unique strengths, develop leadership skills, and foster a positive sense of self. This year-long co-ed program provides a safe, supportive, and dynamic space where participants can grow, learn, and build meaningful relationships that empower them to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Program Overview
- Duration: 12 months
- Eligibility: Middle school students (ages 11–14)
- Program Fee: $3,500 per year
- Start Date: September 2025 – August 2026

The program offers a comprehensive curriculum designed to cultivate confidence, creativity, academic success, and social-emotional intelligence. Through workshops, mentorship, and hands-on activities, students will explore their passions, overcome challenges, and develop skills that will serve them throughout their lives.
Program Features
1. Empowerment Workshops
At the heart of the program are engaging and interactive workshops focused on:
- Building Self-Confidence: Techniques to improve self-esteem, overcome self-doubt, and recognize personal strengths.
- Leadership Skills: Developing communication, decision-making, and teamwork abilities.
- Emotional Intelligence: Understanding emotions, managing stress, and practicing healthy coping strategies.
- Goal Setting & Time Management: Learning to set and achieve personal, academic, and extracurricular goals.
2. Mentorship and Coaching
Each participant will be paired with a mentor—a professional from a field of interest—who will provide guidance and inspiration throughout the year. Mentors will:
- Offer personal and academic support.
- Help participants explore career options.
- Assist in setting long-term goals.
- Share strategies for overcoming obstacles and navigating challenges.
3. Creative Expression and Arts
Participants will engage in creative activities such as art, writing, music, or drama to:
- Boost confidence through self-expression.
- Encourage out-of-the-box thinking.
- Provide a therapeutic outlet for emotions.
- Inspire leadership in creative pursuits.
4. Social Impact and Community Service
Students will learn the value of giving back by participating in community service projects, such as:
- Volunteering at shelters, food banks, or environmental organizations.
- Organizing charity events to support causes they care about.
- Learning leadership through active community engagement.
5. College and Career Prep
It’s never too early to start preparing for future academic and career paths. This component includes:
- College Readiness: Introduction to college admissions, scholarships, and financial aid.
- Career Exploration: Interactive sessions with professionals from various fields.
- Public Speaking and Presentation Skills: Building confidence in speaking before groups and presenting ideas effectively.
6. Special Events and Retreats
To deepen connections and reinforce learning, participants will enjoy exclusive events, including:
- Weekend Retreats: Overnight retreats for team-building, leadership development, and relaxation.
- Guest Speakers and Inspirational Talks: Sessions with successful professionals from diverse fields.
- Graduation Celebration: A ceremony recognizing participants’ growth and achievements.

Program Schedule
The program runs from September 2025 to August 2026, with monthly meetings and activities, including:
- Monthly Workshops: 2-hour workshops focused on leadership, academic success, and personal development.
- Mentorship Sessions: Monthly one-on-one sessions with mentors.
- Quarterly Retreats/Events: Three major events during the year, including weekend retreats or special activities.
- Community Service Projects: Ongoing throughout the year, with at least one major service event per quarter.
- Field Trips: Participants vote on destinations during the first month of the program.
- Summer One-Week Resident Camp: Focused on leadership and team-building in a fun, immersive environment.
- Graduation Ceremony: Formal attire required to celebrate participant achievements and announce scholarships.
