APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS:

  • Be a female student currently enrolled in grades 6th – 10th by the 2018 – 2019 school year
  • Have a minimum GPA of 2.2 and must be in academic standing and have no attendance or disciplinary problems at their school.
  • Complete a “Girls Are Phenomenal” Leadership Program Application and interview with Camp S.W.A.G. Leadership Program Advisory Panel.
  • ReferencesProvide at least three references (2) from school teachers and (1) from a coach, counselor, principal, pastor, work supervisor, community member, etc.
  • Official copy of school transcripts (Please bring sealed official transcripts to orientation and interview).

PROGRAM DATES:

First Session

June 19th – July 19th
10:00am – 4:00pm
Every Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday
Some Mondays and/or Fridays may be used for field trips, volunteering, and mentoring sessions
Location: We will let you know upon acceptance to the program which centrally located high school in the Raleigh area the program will be conducted.

Second Session

July 17th – August 17th
10:00am – 4:00pm
Every Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday
Some Mondays and/or Fridays may be used for field trips, volunteering, and mentoring sessions

PROGRAM FEES:

$495 per session, plus a one-time non-refundable administrative fee of $75
