Experience a Professional Women’s Conference From the Inside
Camp S.W.A.G. (Students With Ambitions & Goals) is providing high school girls ages 16–18 with the opportunity to gain real-world volunteer experience while supporting approved activities at the Connect & Thrive Women’s Conference, hosted by The Lady’z Lounge.
Selected participants are Camp S.W.A.G. volunteers and will work under Camp S.W.A.G. supervision while gaining exposure to professional event operations, communications, leadership, and a conference community of women entrepreneurs, professionals, and business leaders.
No previous conference or volunteer experience is required.
Camp S.W.A.G. Volunteer Assignments
Each assignment provides a different way to gain behind-the-scenes experience while supporting approved conference activities.
Conference Leadership Team
Help support the attendee experience and day-of conference operations.
- Assist with attendee welcome and check-in.
- Help direct attendees to conference sessions and activities.
- Support room transitions and session preparation.
- Assist designated conference leaders and Camp S.W.A.G. adult supervisors.
- Help maintain an organized, professional, and welcoming environment.
Conference Content Team
Help capture conference ideas, experiences, and important takeaways.
- Assist with approved conference content and materials.
- Record key themes and takeaways from designated sessions.
- Help organize information for conference recap materials.
- Support approved social and digital content activities.
- Help document the overall conference experience.
Student Journalist
Observe and document the conference from a young woman’s perspective.
- Prepare questions for approved conference interviews.
- Conduct supervised interviews with designated participants.
- Gather insights and quotes for youth-focused conference coverage.
- Help develop a post-conference recap.
- Highlight lessons and ideas relevant to other young women.
Be Part of the Camp S.W.A.G. Volunteer Team
Selected girls will receive preparation, supervision, and guidance for their assigned responsibilities.

Youth Supervision & Parent Information
Youth Supervision
Camp S.W.A.G. (Students With Ambitions & Goals) coordinates and supervises participating girls during approved volunteer activities.
Camp S.W.A.G. volunteers are assigned only to approved, age-appropriate conference activities and are not assigned to adult-only or after-hours conference activities.
Participants are expected to follow Camp S.W.A.G. supervision requirements, applicable conference guidelines, and instructions from designated Camp S.W.A.G. adult leaders.
Parent & Guardian Information
Parent or guardian authorization is required for volunteers under age 18.
Selected participants and their parent or guardian will receive required Camp S.W.A.G. participation forms, volunteer schedules, preparation information, youth safety guidelines, and additional logistics.
Required forms must be completed before the participant begins her Camp S.W.A.G. volunteer assignment.

Applications are reviewed based on maturity, reliability, communication, professionalism, interests, and readiness to contribute. Submitting an application does not guarantee selection.
